NOTE: There now is a version of this that is program based, and does not require to be run in an Internet Explorer browser. It has 43 different languages, 8 more than this, It also speaks Skype chat messages and Skype contact status changes as well in 10 languages and additionally with a British accent as well. If you would like to learn more about this version Click Here
The Universal Real-Time Message Translator Skype Version will translate Skype chat messages in real-time from and to many different languages using the Internet Explorer Browser.
The ULRTMT ("Universal Language Real-Time Message Translator") also translates old messages in a chat so that you can come back to old chats and have them translated automatically, simply by selecting that chat.
You can always start a new chat with the same people or person to avoid any chat history translation if it is not wanted.
The ULRTMT also uses Double-Translation, a concept and method, that I created, meaning that your chat messages are translated into the other language in the language pair and fed back to you as well to see how it really was translated.
This allows you to re-phrase words to help avoid some machine language translation problems. For things like "There is a bug in my program" could be translated into "There is an insect in my program" so your entered words are translated into the other langauge and then re-translated so you can see what was translated, in most cases.
You may then, in the above example, want to say, instead, "I have a problem with my program". Once you come to realize that "bug" was in fact translated into "insect" as an example.
Machine language translation has a high 70 to low 80 percent accuracy in most cases, so please understand it is not perfect.
This translator allows many people, using as many as 35 different languages, at the same time and in the same Skype chat, for example, with the first language of the language pair being English, and the second language being their language, it looks like, in the real Skype chat window that everyone is using English, when in fact some are using other languages, looking at the real Skype chat, it would seem and look like everyone was using English, and yet they were not, they are entering text using the translator, in their language, and that text is being converted and translated into English before it enters the Skype chat.
English speaking people, could also be in the same Skype chat for example, and not require the translator, and the people using the translator would see the messages in English from them, in their language as well.
To use the translator you must do the following:
1. Start Skype and logon to Skype.
Click Here For The Translator Using an Internet Explorer browser
2. If this is the first time you have used the Skype chat translator, then on the Internet Explorer Chat Translator Window do the following:
Click on Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Local Intranet -> Sites -> Advanced
Select http://saveontelephonebills.com and then click the add button. Click close, click OK, click OK, then refresh the page ("Click the green arrows on the upper right of the Internet Explorer browser window, to the left of the red X").
3. If you have NOT created the Skype chat yet, that you wish to translate, then create it now.
4. Click the "Refresh Chat Information" button to see your Skype Chats.
NOTE: The actual Skype chat window must be behind the Internet Explorer window or minimized for the translator to work properly.
5. Select a language pair, for example the first Language is the actual language that the Skype chat is really in, the second is the one you want to see the Skype chat translated too.
6. Click on a Skype chat listed, to start translating the chat.
You can enter text on one of two windows and then hit enter to send that text into the chat.
You can test and play by creating a chat with echo123, which is the Skype test name for calls and chats as well.
You can change language pairs at anytime, and simply click on the chat name to change Skype Chats to translate in real-time.
You can have many of these translator windows open for many Skype chats at the same time, using different languages as well, if needed.
Please remember that the first language in the language pair is the actual language that the real Skype chat is in.
So for example, if a Skype chat was in French and you wanted to type English and have that English translated to French in the Skype chat, you would choose the "French To English" language pair.
If a Skype chat was in Englisg and you wanted to type French and have that French translated to English in the Skype chat, you would choose the "English To French" language pair.
As you can see in the above examples, the first language in the language pair, represents the actual language that the real Skype chat is in.
The second language in the language pair, represents the language you would like to type and have translated to the first language in the language pair.
Of course, you can type any of the two languages of the language pair you choose, by entering text in the lower left or lower right text windows in the translator and then using the Enter/return key. This can help if you do know some of the language, but yet still need help.
Example: Click Here To Create a Chat With echo123 and then click the "Refresh Chat Information" button on the translator, select a language pair like English to French, then click on the echo123 chat in the list on the translator page, enter text into the English send textbox, it will enter text into the Skype chat, and you will see the French translation, then copy the French translated text into the French send textbox and hit enter you will see how the French is translated into English in the real Skype chat as well.
Using the above example. You could even teach yourself a new language by creating a chat with echo123. If you wanted to learn French and you knew English, you could create a chat with echo123, select it, then choose the language pair "French To English" enter the English text you want translated in the lower left text window, and press the Enter/Return key when done.
Your English text will be translated to French in the right text window, as well as the real echo123 Skype chat window.
Using these methods you now have the ability to teach yourself 35 different languages at your pace, using the words and phrases you would like to learn.
Again, the real Skype chat must be behind the translator window or minimized for the chat translator to work properly.
Note: Any translated messages sent by you will NOT show up in the translator window, until at least one person is online and read the chat messages you sent.
So, if you would like to practice using the chat translator, and nobody you know is online, you can create a chat with the Skype Test Skype name echo123 to see your translated chat messages as quickly as you enter them.
You can now communicate with people on Skype, in Skype chats, using 35 different languages, that you had no classes in, normally, you would not be able to understand each other.
Good luck on meeting others using Skype almost anywhere in the world now. Make as many international friends as possible! Try and meet more people worldwide and learn new languages at your pace as well.
Enjoy....I will be adding many more languages in the next few days as well.
